A fine hotel with picturesque views, effortlessly blending charm and comfort. The breakfast was a amazing treat, and my host provided really good service. Perfect for a getaway!

The hallways seemed dimly lit, giving an odd ambiance, and the parking was quite tight, potentially troublesome for those with larger vehicles.

By and large, it was ideal place for sightseeing in Newcastle upon Tyne, had much fun. Got impeccably clean and huge room with great views and the garden - always come in handy. An electric kettle and glassware were available too👍

Overall it was extremely pleasant and well-equipped, with a shared bathroom.

The heating was slow to warm up early in the morning, quite uncomfortable to get up. The dim lighting in the hallways added to an unsettling ambiance, especially at night. I also found the parking situation rather tight.

I was close to leaving a glowing review but the dark hallways and freezing morning made me rethink. They definitely should have offered me a complimentary gesture for such dismal service, providing upgraded comfort must've been too much to ask. It was hardly a good experience, more like a downgrade from expectations really.
